Community Plaza in Central Geyserville

The Geyserville community has long sought a community park as a place for community gatherings, informal uses, and community events; this site offers the best option for creating a community park. The site of the existing Park n' Ride lot, owned by the County offers a affordable and available site for the Park.

Public restrooms are also needed in central Geyserville and they could be located in the proposed park and would generally be open for "events only".

Project Ongoing:

  • GAV-MAC approved a recommendation for $30,000 funding from the Mitigation Fund at its November 2020 meeting; the Board of Supervisors appropriated the funding in March 2021.

  • Site engineering work has been completed under a contract with County DTPW.

  • Park design consultant has been retained and has begun work on park design.

  • GAV-MAC approved a recommendation for an additional $14,0000 funding from the Mitigation Fund at its December 2021 meeting; the Board of Supervisors has yet to appropriate the funding.
